In addition to general medical care for illness and injury, we offer our own menu of regular health checkups. The medical checkups have various purposes, but the most important one is “to provide an opportunity to see a doctor. Many expatriates are busier than when working in Japan due to business trips and increased workloads, and some of them may not have time to visit a medical facility if they are feeling a little under the weather.

By seeing a doctor through regular health checkups, you can ask questions about physical changes or illnesses that have been bothering you recently, so you should have an annual health checkup with the intention of relieving your anxiety.

Features of our health checkups

1.Reasonably priced, focusing on necessary tests.
For example, our physical examination package does not include an eye examination. Although it is possible to add it as an option at Taiko Hospital, it is excluded from the package because vision tests are usually performed for contact lens and eyeglass fitting. Hearing tests are also optional at TAIKOIN.

2.The same doctor who usually examines patients is also in charge of medical interviews during health checkups.
We are not a facility specializing in medical checkups, but also offer general outpatient services, so if any abnormality is found during an examination, the same doctor can be used as your primary care physician for ongoing treatment.

3.Health Examination Report and Feedback in Japanese
In addition to the ability to interview the doctor in Japanese, we will provide you with a health checkup report written in both Japanese and English. The results of medical examinations are classified as either within standard values or abnormal values, but there are some examinations in which a single abnormal result does not immediately raise suspicion of a specific disease.

Therefore, do not just look at the results of your health checkup report and be happy or sad about individual test results, but get more detailed feedback from your doctor to accurately understand your own physical condition and review your usual lifestyle habits as necessary.
