DYM Healthcare opened in 2017 as the first medical institution run by a Japanese doctor on the island side of Hong Kong. The reason why I created a clinic in Hong Kong is because I felt that there were no clinics in the Taikoo and Sai Wan River area, a Japanese residential area, that were familiar with Japanese medical care, which was inconvenient for expatriates and their families living in the area.
In Hong Kong, diarrhea, food poisoning, chickenpox, mumps, measles, hand-foot-and-mouth disease, scarlet fever, dengue fever, Japanese encephalitis, and tick-borne diseases are common. We are also able to provide all services from reservations, reception, and accounting in Japanese.

In addition, we try to provide the same level of prevention, examination, treatment, and explanation as in Japan. For example, because Japanese and Hong Kong people have different body shapes, eating habits, climates, and enzymes that metabolize drugs, there are drugs that are effective for Hong Kong people but too strong, too weak, or ineffective for Japanese people.
We also put a lot of effort into recruiting Hong Kong doctors. We have diligent doctors who not only have a backbone of medical knowledge, but also listen to their patients and study about Japanese vaccinations. We also put a lot of effort into hiring and training interpreters and comedians, especially Kushida, who has long experience as a medical interpreter in Hong Kong, and qualified medical interpreters, so you can rest assured that you are in good hands.
I used to manage an IT company in Thailand and visited Thailand frequently, but I felt that there were various problems in Thai medical institutions, such as "medical examinations were low or lax compared to the level in Japan," "explanations of medical conditions were not thorough," and "the amount of medicine prescribed was not suitable for Japanese people. We have been trying to improve the quality of medical care in Thailand as much as possible to meet the needs of Japanese patients.

We try to provide the same level of prevention, consultation, treatment, and explanation as in Japan as much as possible.
